MKA is a robust school community with over 1000 students on three campuses (Pre-K-3rd, 4th-8th, 9th-12th). We function as one school through an articulated curriculum whose hallmarks include our unique and longstanding Pre-K-12 Signature Programs: the Culture of Ethics, The Writing Challenge, and The MKA Core, as well as a nationally recognized program for integrating technology in the curriculum. MKA was recognized as an Apple Distinguished School for 2013-2015 and provided a 1:1 laptop learning environment for our students. At MKA, our teachers' work and the lives of our students are shaped by our Mission Statement and the ideals of our motto, "Knowledge, Vision, Integrity." While over a third of our families live in Montclair, we draw students from eight counties and over seventy townships.
