  1. KIBS strives to offer the best possible international and national education. The education philosophy of KIBS considers every child as a unique individual and focuses on the whole child for education instruction. KIBS prides itself to be able to offer families in the Zürich area an international and national education that places the child at the center of learning. The children are engaged in meaningful experiences that challenge and promote academic excellence. To offer a curriculum that meets the needs of its pupils, KIBS has developed its own tailored program which incorporates learning skills and objectives from international curriculums as well as the learning objectives of Canton Zürich. All subjects are taught through a cross-curricular medium, which creates a meaningful base on which to build a strong learning platform. The curriculum promotes critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills. KIBS encourages its pupils to develop a degree of independence and to take responsibility for themselves. Our mission here at KIBS is to offer high-quality and innovative international and national education that places the child at the center of learning and motivates it to reach her/his full potential in a respectful and accepting environment. By presenting all learning through interactive teachings, the children at KIBS are not only taught in a supportive, class atmosphere and smaller groups, but also on an individual level which ensures that each student is receiving the best possible education. The children are constantly engaged in meaningful experiences that challenge and promote academic excellence. The early developmental years are fundamental to the future success of a child in school years and even later in life in the professional arena. Young children are particularly curious, inquisitive, and willing to learn. It is important to meet a child’s natural readiness to learn at this stage without overwhelming them. True learning produces joy and happiness. Through multi-sensory lessons and activities, we encourage the children to explore the world using all their senses. We encourage them to think independently and empathize with others to learn conflict resolution strategies as well as tolerance and respect.
