In Early Childhood, the Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum gives girls the space to solve problems creatively. Across all disciplines, faculty work collaboratively to make connections. When first graders learned to use engineering skills to build bridges, they later studied how some of the same properties apply to ballet. This is evident daily in 8th-grade Global Studies, where a Socratic-style seminar class encourages a respectful debate around the unique 20-seat Harkness table.
