A positive ethos of praise, high expectations, and involvement in their learning encourage each child to develop the belief that they can achieve their personal best. Hence our school motto ‘Nurture, Believe, Achieve’ The children at our school are enthusiastic learners and we do our very best to make their activities engaging, exciting, and successful. Our children are supported by an extremely well-staffed team of excellent teachers and assistants and have access to a wide range of resources, including the latest technology. We have designed a rich curriculum, which is full of opportunities to explore, question, and acquire a love of learning which we hope will remain with our children throughout their lives. A close and supportive relationship between families and school is important to us and we welcome you into school to talk about your child. We have lots of opportunities for families to be involved in children’s learning and the life of the school. We have regular topic afternoons and a variety of assemblies and concerts for you to attend. If you would like to come and join us by helping out with our Parents Teachers Association (PTA) in their many fundraising events we would be delighted to see you. This is because we firmly believe that working together in partnership brings about the greatest success for children. We aim to: Provide a positive environment and a happy school, where pupils are sensitively cared for in all aspects. Provide a balanced, inspiring, and fun curriculum, which is supportive, challenging, and relevant to all children whilst utilizing advances in technological development. Develop confident, thoughtful individuals who take ownership of their learning, persevere to succeed, and feel proud of their achievements. Stimulate every child’s mind by creating an environment promoting the desire to question and investigate. Involve parents actively in school life, forming committed partnerships locally, nationally including the global community Encourage respect and sensitivity for the needs of others, creating equal opportunities, regardless of gender, belief and ethnic background, intellectual or physical abilities We want our children to smile, be happy, be safe and be the best they can be.
