- St. Gregory’s is a three-form entry, voluntary aided Roman Catholic Primary School maintained by the London Borough of Ealing. The school is located in the Parish of St. Benedict’s in West London in the Diocese of Westminster. Situated in a quiet residential area of Ealing, the school benefits from spacious grounds and excellent transport connections. St. Gregory’s was founded in 1952 to serve the local Catholic community in the Deanery of Ealing. Generations of Catholic families have attended the school, maintaining a sense of belonging and tradition. We have 662 pupils on the roll comprising 22 different ethnic groupings. 42% of our pupils speak English as an Additional Language. There are three classes per year group with up two 30 pupils per class. The school is served by a committed, experienced Governing Body whose dedication ensures strategic management and robust accountability at all levels. The school’s Parent/Teacher Association works with enthusiasm and great generosity raising funds throughout the year to support and enable numerous learning projects. The principal aim of St Gregory's Catholic School is to create a Catholic Community, in which schools, families, and parish will work together, loving our faith, living our faith, and learning our faith. We aim to create a happy, welcoming, caring environment based on mutual respect for all. We aim to be a school that offers every person the opportunity to be a unique, valued individual, sharing and developing belief in the teachings of Jesus, through our everyday relationships and dealings with each other. We aim to offer the children a broad, balanced, relevant Roman Catholic curriculum of the highest standard, which aims to develop their moral, cognitive, spiritual, and physical needs and prepares them for responsibilities and experiences of adult life. We aim to develop the same spirit of care and generosity towards our multi-faith community as St Gregory, our patron, through prayer and living faith. We aim to strive to be a worshipping community within our families, parish, and school, by celebrating meaningful and appropriate liturgy and ensuring prayer life is nourished, guided, and developed.
