Gippsland Grammar is an Anglican, co-educational boarding school that caters to students from K-12. Our Vision is to develop our students' cognitive, socio-emotional, and learning dispositions to enable them to take their place as global citizens and leaders within a digital world. The school comprises two junior campuses (including our Early Learning Centres) - St Anne's in Sale and our Bairnsdale Campus - and our Senior (7-12) Garnsey Campus in Sale. Gippsland Grammar is an Anglican, co-educational boarding school that caters to students from Kinder (Reception and Pre-Prep) to Year 12 across three campuses. The school comprises two Junior Schools (including our Early Learning Centres) - St Anne's in Sale and our Bairnsdale Campus - and our Senior (7-12) Garnsey Campus in Sale, creating a seamless transition from junior to secondary school. Our goal is for every student to discover their level of success. While our school retains a strong academic focus, we are committed to developing the whole child and have a robust co-curricular program that includes rowing, equestrian, and a broad range of outdoor education pursuits. At Gippsland Grammar, the inextricable connection between wellbeing and learning is evident in everything we do. Students feel safe and supported by teachers who know their students and use positive education strategies in the classroom and beyond. Our contemporary facilities reflect the enjoyment and value of learning as part of a community with shared values. Students develop personally and intellectually through the many and varied opportunities and experiences offered. Our VCE results are consistently outstanding: in 2017, 25% of students obtained an ATAR score of over 90 putting them in the top 10% of the state, while 56% obtained an ATAR score over 80, placings them in the top 20%. Our alumni are government ministers, business owners, artists and writers, doctors, lawyers…professional success is evident in a diverse range of fields. The Gippsland Grammar Early Learning Centre (ELC) provides an excellent beginning for your child as they embark upon their journey through school and life. Our Early Learning Program is tailored to meet the needs of 3 to 5-year-olds and ensures that your child's first schooling experience is a positive and happy one. Growing and learning at the ELC instills in children qualities such as respect, independence, empathy, tolerance, and collaboration. These align with the Gippsland Grammar Academic Care Principles that promote five core values– Compassion, Leadership, Excellence, Respect, and Responsibility. Our philosophy is to create harmonious, caring, and creative learning environments that will challenge and extend your child in these crucial years of intellectual, social, spiritual, and physical growth. Children are encouraged to become flexible, creative, and adaptable thinkers ready to become global citizens and navigate change in a fast-moving world. They are immersed in an environment that provides plenty of early literacy and numeracy experiences, a mix of adult and child-directed learning, as well as opportunities for open-ended interest-based exploration. Our daily programs integrate the arts, science, mathematics and language, thinking skills, growth mindset, and education about sustainability. Parents are welcomed as active partners in the process of their child's education. The school has two Early Learning Centres located at the St Anne's Junior Campus (Sale) and the Bairnsdale Junior Campus. Both provide learning beautiful environments, purpose-built, and have landscaped playgrounds. Both centers are currently rated as 'Exceeding' the National Quality Standard. While the Early Learning Centres have their own safe enclosed areas within the campus, the children can see and interact with the older children and become very comfortable with the idea of being part of the 'big school' from an early age. This helps to make the transition into Prep both successful and seamless.
