The All-Russian state institute of cinematography of S. A. Gerasimov (VGIK) is a federal public educational institution of the Russian Federation's higher education. The VGIK is under the authority of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The founder and the owner of the property of the Institute are the Russian Federation. The official name of Institute in Russian: the full – Federal public budgetary educational institution of the higher education "The All-Russian state institute of cinematography of S. A. The College of cinema, television, and multimedia, the VGIK created according to the Academic council the VGIK in May 2004, is the structural division of the All-Russian state institute of cinematography of S. A. Gerasimov, realizing programs of secondary professional education. Interaction with faculties and chairs of Institute allows to transfer and introduce many high school traditions in College, to give to educational process high school orientation. Teachers of College – professors, leading experts in the fine arts, animation, teachers, and graduate students of Institute. Creation of uniform creative space throughout all time of training which principal value is each student forms spiritual progressive, creative, is moral also physically healthy personality focused on a conscious choice of living position, independent development of ideas at the current level. Students receive good knowledge and skills during the educational and work practice directed on formation at students of practical professional abilities, acquiring initial experience, and developing the general and professional competences on the chosen specialty. Enrollment of students is carried out both on a budgetary and on a compensation basis. Reception due to budgetary appropriations of the federal budget is carried out according to the target figures of reception approved by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The College trained and let out more than 500 experts of an average link for film production, television, animation studios, advertising agencies and theaters on the following specialties: "Painting," "Equipment and art of photography," "Audiovisual equipment and sound technical providing audiovisual programs," "Lighting design," "Management," "Advertising," "The theatrical and audiovisual equipment." Now training is provided in "Painting (by types)."The analysis of the quality of educational activity shows that the structure of preparation meets the market's needs for experts of an average link. The College renders additional educational services – career guidance courses work. The College of cinema, television, and multimedia, the VGIK of S. A.
