We are an American, Islamic devoted, independent school that offers the American Diploma to students from levels, Kindergarten to Grade Twelve. Our mission is to develop the spiritual, academic, personal, and physical growth of each student within an atmosphere of care and concern. ACIC is dedicated to its Islamic and Egyptian heritage while being open to all faiths and backgrounds. Academically, we are committed to educational excellence. We offer an innovative approach to a curriculum that integrates technology, promotes creativity, encourages artistic expression, and actively engages students in exploration and inquiry. While offering academically challenging curriculums, we respect that the goal of education is to nurture children to become questioning and analytical young people ready to move on in the world as learners for life. This is a process that means transforming information to knowledge, then to wisdom. at ACIC we have an inner beauty because we focus and build on Islamic values, as well as promote confidence and a belief in the greater good. Thus we ensure inclusiveness of all students - regardless of their nationality, ability, or gender. ACIC effectively implements modern educational methodologies to enable our students to acquire the skills needed to face a challenging future. Our curricula are reviewed and updated regularly following the United States national standards. To assure that students are assessed continuously through the school year, the school evaluation of academic success is not only based on final exams but also includes daily homework, frequent quizzes, tests, class participation, and group or individual projects. Parents are as important to us as our students. We believe that parental involvement is vital to the well-being of the students and the school. Our parents are true partners and they are encouraged to come into the school to share their knowledge and expertise with us. Our school has grown and developed remarkably over the last few years. we are grateful for the support and assistance we received from the board of trustees, administrators, teachers, and parents and we hope that this deepens and grows over the coming years. It is our vision to be a leading American international school-producing graduate with a sound understanding of Islamic values, democratic ideals, and global awareness. ACICs Mission is to provide an environment in which academic excellence and moral understanding, rooted in Islamic values, can be achieved and maintained. We strive to transform today's learners into tomorrow's mature, spiritual, and responsible citizens of the world having the ability to recognize and acknowledge diversity and ethnicity. Core Values: We believe in supporting others and serving our community. We are committed to honesty, fairness, and integrity. We embrace inclusiveness and diversity exploring and respecting all cultures. We provide students with the opportunity to experience and develop skills in technology, creative arts, and sports. We recognize the importance of parent, student, and staff involvement in education delivery and actively encourage their participation. We offer continual professional development for staff to ensure that the school is providing students with a high-quality education. Moving through the 21st century we aim to be runners in science and information technology. View full school
