  1. We value all our students and know them well, we know their potential to succeed and quickly get to know their families. This is something we cherish. We listen to our students, parents, and carers, who help us in our continued commitment to innovation and improvement. The size of our school is important. It is small enough for us to know each child, yet large enough to offer a broad and balanced curriculum, with a wide variety of extra-curricular activities for Year 7 to Year 13 students. We are proud to be a successful community school. Our thriving sixth form partnership with St Richard Gwyn High School has wholehearted community support and our links with Ysgol Maes Hyfryd enhance our provision and philosophy of inclusion. Our motto is ‘Believe, Achieve, Succeed'. This reflects our conviction that every student deserves the best chance to flourish and learn in a happy environment. To be the school of choice for students and their families in the local community. Our Mission: To provide a high-quality, inclusive education that challenges and develops our students, enabling them to realize their full academic potential, and enhance their skills and talents. To provide a welcoming, safe and supportive environment in which students feel happy and confident. To ensure that each student is valued and treated as an individual. To create a community within a community that includes an active partnership with families. 2. Flint Hill School believes that learning is a journey, and the destination is discovering who you are and what you have to offer. We value our students’ talents, ideas, interests, and potential. That is why we have created an environment that encourages students to take risks, explore their passions, and think like innovators. As a result, our students think and learn without limits, with the confidence and competence to make a meaningful impact on the world. A Flint Hill education focuses on the learner. Within the context of healthy relationships, we create developmental experiences that embrace the best practices of traditional and contemporary education. Through continuous growth, we actively and thoughtfully implement the ideas and resources that help each student investigate, create, and communicate collaboratively and effectively in a rapidly changing, interconnected world. Like most independent schools, Flint Hill is being tested by a changing landscape comprised of cultural, educational, and economic factors. Our strength and future opportunity come as we recognize the ever-present need to learn and evolve. The new Strategic Plan is our road-map for adaptive change. We are prepared to act with confidence and conviction by the school’s mission. As ever, we are profoundly grateful to you for your support of Flint Hill. We look forward to introducing you to Flint Hill. In every division, our students benefit from a learning environment deeply committed to building a strong foundation for student excellence and success. They are treated first and foremost as individuals, and the mutual respect that enriches their interactions with everyone in our community results in confident, poised, and positioned to excel.
