The School provides a balanced academic, sporting, musical, and social curriculum that enables each pupil to fulfill his or her potential. This is delivered by a team of truly passionate teachers who strives to push pupils to their academic limits. Our supportive Christian environment encourages all pupils to pursue activities and develop new passions. We offer an eclectic range of sports and activities. The sports hall, swimming pool and 25 acres of School grounds provide a perfect environment for games, whilst the library, computer suites and other facilities, including a dark room, are used for many other lessons and interests. We recognize that each child is an individual and aim to promote the development of all-around talents, allowing our pupils to leave us well-equipped to deal with the challenges of higher education and beyond. Farringtons School is part of a group administered by the Council for Methodist Independent Schools. Farringtons School values its Methodist heritage and Christian foundation which fundamentally shape the Aims and Values which emerge from the Methodist Independent Schools Mission statement. In September 2006, Farringtons became the location for a new nursery development – Busy Bees at Farringtons – providing daycare for children aged three months to four years. In January 2008, new purpose-built Foundation stage classrooms and facilities were opened by the Mayor of Bromley. Under the headship of Mrs. Catherine James, in 2010 the school accepted boys into Year 7 for the first time it is now fully co-educational, a process which has been incredibly successful and seen places much in demand from both boys and girls alike. The School continues to grow and flourish, and in 2016 Head, Mrs. Dorothy Nancekievill opened a new two-story teaching block that provides enhanced teaching accommodation and facilities for both Science and Mathematics. We look forward with anticipation to the School's continuing success. Our good balance of academia, sport, music, drama, and other activities and social events prepares pupils for life beyond Farringtons. Every pupil leaves with the tools to fulfill their potential.
