Coopers is a warm, welcoming, and friendly school where all students are happy learners. Your child is the most important person to you and our School. The mission is to take Coopers from being a good to an outstanding school. We are very proud of our latest Ofsted Report which shows that we can achieve this. When the School was last inspected in January 2014, the inspectors said that 'Coopers is a well-led school within which a well-planned curriculum and good teaching lead to very high standards and very good examination results, in the top 20% of the country.' They described the school as "bubbling outstanding."The inspectors also commented that the very good behavior of the students makes an important contribution to the welcoming, supportive and orderly learning environment created by the School as we strive for academic success. Relationships between students and staff are outstanding and the staff enjoys opportunities to lead and participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities and trips locally, nationally, and abroad. We are vastly oversubscribed for admissions to Year 7 and our Sixth Form of 300 students is also oversubscribed and successful. We are a part of the William Willett Learning Trust with Mead Road Infants. We have extensive partnerships with schools, locally, nationally, and abroad. This allows us to develop and share best practices with others and to both offer and access a range of professional development opportunities for our staff.
