- The school is an important part of the community and the village, and we hope that every child will realize this and will grow to become an important member of the community and to respect the environment. First and foremost, whilst in attendance, every child should be happy because a child who enjoys being in school will gain maximum benefit from his/her primary education. Education has many long-term objectives and we seek to foster good relationships between children, staff, and parents for these objectives to be achieved. May I state that we have the welfare of each pupil at heart the whole time and that we are anxious to work with you as parents to provide an excellent primary education for your child in a happy atmosphere? The school exists to help the children to develop skills and knowledge necessary to become useful, caring members of an everchanging society. We hope to achieve this within a happy, stable, safe environment which encourages progression within the various stages of childhood. At our school, we hope to provide a caring environment for your child. We endeavor to provide a wide range of balanced learning opportunities for all children to help them grow into independent and responsible people. The Framework encapsulates the skills that will help learners thrive in an increasingly digital world. Digital competence is one of 3 cross-curricular responsibilities, alongside literacy and numeracy. It focuses on developing digital skills which can be applied to a wide range of subjects and scenarios. The Framework, which has been developed by practitioners from Pioneer Schools, supported by external experts, has 4 strands of equal importance, each with several elements. View full school
