  1. Bentley University is one of the nation's leading business schools, dedicated to preparing a new kind of business leader and one with the excellent technical skills, the broad global perspective, and the high ethical standards required to make a difference in an ever-changing world. To achieve our goal, we infuse our advanced business curriculum with a liberal arts education richness. The results are graduates who make an impact in their chosen fields and turn their passions into success stories. Located on a classic New England campus just minutes from Boston, Bentley is a dynamic community of leaders, scholars, and creative thinkers. Today, the challenges of a rapidly changing world have made business skills and experience hot commodities. More students consider the business as the foundation of their higher education experience and consider Bentley in the process. With our unique blend of business, technology, and the liberal arts, Bentley, a private, not-for-profit institution, provides students with relevant, practical, and transferable skills. At Bentley, we blend the breadth and technological strength of a large university with a small college's values and student focus. Students interested in business professions choose from a wide range of programs that address all functional areas, including accountancy, finance, marketing, management, and liberal arts — all anchored in technology. Your education is about more than learning. It is about enjoying a community, contributing your skills and talents, and making lifelong friendships and connections. With a classic New England campus just minutes away from Harvard Square and Boston, you will enjoy a beautiful setting and easy access to other universities and Boston's rich array of culture, activities, and entertainment. You are building your career at a time of rapid change, accelerated innovation, intense globalization, and profound demographic shifts. Success depends on how quickly you can identify and evaluate trends, adapt to new cultures, and creative craft approaches to stakeholders, products, services, and social contexts. Bentley University shapes its academic curriculum around preparing you for the increasingly changing workforce. College is a time to explore and learn. It's also a time to develop the job-finding and career-management skills you need for a lifetime of career success. Helping you get those skills and find a great job upon graduation is what our Career Services Department is here for. Your Bentley experience is about more than just what you learn in the classroom — it is about providing you with opportunities to pursue your passions. Our on-campus activities include athletics, the arts, cultural events, volunteering, and more than 100 student organizations. In 2018, Bentley opened a 76,000 square foot arena that serves host to the university's NCAA Division I hockey team and prominent events such as career fairs, high-profile speakers, alumni events, and concerts. When it comes to athletics, we offer something for everyone - from flag football to volleyball. Whether you are a member of one of the college's 20 varsity teams or a recreational athlete intent on maintaining your physical well-being, you'll fit in at Bentley. In either case, you will find the college's athletic facilities to be outstanding and state-of-the-art. Since its founding in 1917, Bentley has responded to the needs of the business marketplace. Today our mission is "To educate creative, ethical, and socially responsible organizational leaders by creating and disseminating impactful knowledge within and across the business and the arts & sciences." Our corporate partnerships keep our curriculum relevant and market-informed and ensure that the latest business thinking is shared from the classroom to the boardroom. Corporate partnerships are complex and multi-dimensional. Our Corporate Relations team will work with you to create a customized plan for your business to leverage Bentley's resources and expertise. Diversity refers to the vast array of human differences, including ethnicity and race, gender, age, disability status, and other cultural, socio-economic background, experience, and perspective, that exist in the workforce and the wider community. Bentley believes that promoting diversity plays an essential role in its educational mission, fostering more significant innovation and creativity, attracting the most expansive pool of qualified applicants to its workforce, and enhancing its communication and relationships with the community. Valuing diversity is one of Bentley's greatest strengths and is a core value. At Bentley University, diversity is everyone's responsibility. Fulfilling our mission as an institution depends on the ability of everyone in our community to become more competent in dealing with people who seem different from us. Formal responsibility for coordinating university-wide diversity-related programs and activities at Bentley is located in the Office of Diversity & Inclusion. Many other departments, centers, offices, and organizations at Bentley improve the diversity climate through varied and persistent efforts. Programs and Initiatives are consistently underway across the campus, intending to ensure that all Bentley community members feel welcomed here. Our internationally recognized faculty conduct high-level scholarship, present at national and international conferences, and publish with top-level journals and academic presses. Our graduates' success stems from our faculty's talent and passion for inquiry. Bentley supports research that prepares leaders who can address complex challenges through multiple lenses. Faculty members from our arts and sciences and business disciplines know that the ability to fuse both is key to producing graduates with knowledge of business and its broader societal value.

Embracing a vision of transformative learning and a culture of excellence, Bentley still holds the values of its founders while offering cutting-edge programs on two beautiful campuses. With rich enhancements in course offerings, we are preparing today’s students for bright futures. Throughout their time at Bentley, students are challenged and supported by talented and passionate faculty, dedicated administrators, and classmates who value and respect diverse perspectives. Our students develop deep intellectual curiosity and awareness of their responsibilities as citizens. Though each will embark on his or her unique path, every Bentley graduate shares the knowledge that he or she can make a real difference in the world of tomorrow. Students in our Lower School enjoy an environment in which they are encouraged by their teachers to explore new academic and social frontiers in a safe environment. Middle School students gain healthy confidence and character as they boldly expand their learning with elective courses in preparation for the Upper School. In the Upper School, students take great pride in challenging themselves and supporting one another academically while also developing and deepening their values and interests in and beyond the classroom. Guided by excellent advisors, teachers, and college counselors throughout their four years, Bentley graduates move into distinguished universities and colleges throughout the country and across the world, and lead balanced lives of success and purpose. Our admissions process is designed to provide you with an individualized experience to help you determine whether Bentley is the right choice for your child and family. And just as we are eager to share our School with you, we look forward to learning more about the talents, aspirations, and energy you and your child may bring to our community. While you may learn more by exploring our website, the best way to experience Bentley is through a campus visit. All divisions encourage respectful and kind treatment of others, emphasizing inclusion in activities and friendship. Our students take pride in old and new school traditions and enjoy opportunities to show their Phoenix spirit together, whether it’s in weekly Town Hall meetings, drama productions, or athletic events. Located on six acres in the beautiful Oakland Hills, Bentley offers a "home away from home" feeling while promoting excellence in teaching and learning for the youngest members of our community. Teachers encourage students to celebrate their successes, take risks, and learn from their failures. The many forms of diversity our families represent, including diversity of thought, create new traditions in a culture of shared values including respect, excellence, and care. The pastoral nine-acre campus showcases a state-of-the-art playing field with Athletic and Student Centers as the backdrop for four exciting and challenging years. Upper School students engage in numerous endeavors here, whether in the classroom, on the field, in the science labs, on stage, or in the Lab working on underwater ROVs. Each student is expected to both do their best academically and understand their role in the well-being of the community. Advising and College Counseling, which begins in ninth grade, guide students to develop an academic and co-curricular road map to prepare them for colleges and universities of their choice locally, nationally, and internationally. At Bentley, excellence in teaching and learning is our primary focus as we carry out our commitment to our student's academic growth. We encourage authentic, person-to-person connections in and out of the classroom. Recognizing that technology is increasingly part of our lives, our goal is to create an interactive learning space while helping students to navigate the privileges and perils of the plugged-in life. We believe that encouraging our students to use technology judiciously and effectively fosters long-term growth, discipline, and success. Technology is an exploratory tool that facilitates learning, opens us to new worlds and information, and is a means to investigate a virtually limitless universe. By balancing the use of technology with the merits of learning by doing, our students discover the many ways in which learning takes place. Bentley offers a combination of computer labs on both campuses, Chromebooks, Laptop carts, iPads, and a BYOD (Bring Your Device) model, allowing our faculty to utilize the appropriate tool for individual students and lessons. Bentley leverages technology in the classroom as a mechanism for learning, collaboration, communication, and excitement. All of our classrooms are equipped with audio-visual aids which allow the classroom experience to become a collaborative environment for our students. 9-12 Campus Address: 1000 Upper Happy Valley Road, CA City: Lafayette Postal Code: 94549 Phone: +1 925 2832101 View full school
