Avanti Schools Trust is a family of schools that share the ideals of educational excellence, character formation, and spiritual insight. We are a provider of high-quality education for all with a growing number of schools, including Hindu faith schools and community (non-denominational) schools. We support and assist our schools in key areas such as quality assurance, school improvement, pedagogy and curriculum, CPD, finance and procurement, HR, project management, and premises. The Trust is differentiated by very strong community links and positive working partnerships with the local authorities where we work. The faith schools within the Trust draw upon the teachings of Krishna Chaitanya, part of the same religious tradition as the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. The community schools within the Trust do not have any religious designation. Educational excellence nurtures our passion for learning. We are encouraged to become reflective and thoughtful individuals. We learn to take positive risks in a safe environment. Our learning lays firm foundations for our vocation, lifelong learning, and self-fulfillment. Character development drives our becoming exemplary citizens. Spiritual insight in community schools helps us to better understand ourselves, others, and the world around us. Spirituality is made relevant and accessible to all, irrespective of faith or belief. Exploring and sharing diverse beliefs with an open heart enriches our chosen path. In Hindu faith schools, spiritual insight further aims to rekindle our unique, personal and loving relationship with Krishna (the divine). At Avanti, we know our parents are extremely caring and supportive. Often, we are surprised by the generosity and kindness shown by our community of parents. We have experienced this time and time again, be it through the sacrifice of your time to support classroom teaching through to valuable parental support groups. We know you give us this support because you passionately believe in investing in the future, just as we do. It is this spirit that drives us! We write to you today to launch a voluntary parental contribution scheme called Avanti Giving which we hope will be of immense value to all pupils at Avanti helping the school to become not just a great school, but a world-class school. Avanti Giving will allow a fixed amount of funds to be incorporated into the school's annual budget to fund activities that are currently not funded or insufficiently funded from government funding. Avanti Life brings parents and community the very best of what’s happening within our family of schools – the events, the achievements, the vision – and the pupils, educators, and friends behind it all.
