Our School offers a happy, purposeful environment with high academic standards and an enriching, broad curriculum. Boys and girls, aged from 3 – 11 years, are encouraged to rise to academic, creative, sporting, and social challenges supported by our caring staff. We have an excellent secondary school entrance exam and scholarship record. Our academic record certainly makes us one of the highest achieving independent schools in West London. However, we believe that education should extend beyond academic achievement. We aim to develop every child’s unique talents to their full potential. So our pupils enjoy all aspects of school life: they work hard and play hard. Our standards of discipline and general expectations are high but are tailored to meet each child. We combine traditional values of respect and courtesy with a modern outlook on our multicultural world. We also encourage children to succeed in sporting and non-academic fields through a range of extra-curricular opportunities, after-school clubs, and activities to stretch learning opportunities and encourage social interaction, personal development, and teamwork. They also have time to be children and have fun with their friends as well. Although we are nonselective on entry, Ashton House graduates successfully move onto a range of independent, grammar and well-regarded state schools equipped to grasp the opportunities of secondary education with the firm basis of skills acquired here.
