      1. St John`s Angell Church of England Primary School is a one-form entry, an inner-city school situated in Brixton in Lambeth. The school has one class per year from reception to year 6, with a total of 30 children in each class. There is a nursery that offers part-time places, with some full-time places offered to those children with particular needs. We are very proud of our happy, vibrant, and inclusive school. All the staff is committed to our Christian ethos, which influences how the school functions. We aim to provide high-quality teaching and learning in an environment that cares for and supports the individual. Children with particular learning, behavior or emotional needs are excellently supported both in the classroom and by our inclusion team. Children and adults alike enjoy coming to school each day. The children learn in a stimulating, caring, and supportive environment enabling them to make good progress and achieve well. Our creative curriculum reflects the interests and strengths of our children. St John's Angell Town Church of England school provides a happy, secure, and stimulating learning environment where Christian values are embraced by all. Our mission is 'LEARNING TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE THROUGH FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE'We aim to achieve our mission statement by: Reflecting the teachings of Jesus Christ in our daily lives. Providing a warm and welcoming environment for our school and the wider community Fostering a lasting love of learning. Encouraging and celebrating achievement. Expecting the highest standards of work and behavior. Effective teaching develops independence and inspires creativity in a broad and balanced curriculum. Addressing individual needs and diversity within an inclusive ethos. St John's values the individuality of all children. We are committed to giving all our children every opportunity to achieve the highest of standards. We do this by taking account of pupils' varied life experiences and needs. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum and have high expectations of all our children. The achievements, attitudes, and well-being of all our children matter.
