- A'soud Global School (AGS) is a new innovative British school located in the Seeb area of Muscat which opened in September 2016. We welcome both expatriate and local Omani children from the ages of 3 to 14 in our Preparatory and Senior school, with children progressing organically through the school on a year-by-year basis, ultimately providing an international education for children from 3 to 17 years of age. AGS currently has children of 61 different nationalities enrolled in the school. The expected number of students for August 2018 is expected to reach over 650 students with an overall capacity in the longer term of around 1500 students. As an International school, we aim to provide our pupils with a truly international experience whilst drawing upon the best tenets of a UK independent education and fulfilling local Ministry requirements here in Oman. Our doors opened in September 2016 initially welcoming children aged 3-12 years, growing year by year until we reach the final phase of education at age 17. The school will be a hub for the local community offering not only a first-class education to its pupils but also providing a rich array of resources and facilities to be enjoyed by all. Our staff consists of a mix of highly qualified British teachers and locally employed staff all with the same goal of providing the best educational experiences and opportunities for your child. A strong emphasis on sport, theatre, and drama and opportunities outside of the school both locally and internationally, will ensure your child develops into a well-rounded and academically strong individual. All of which will be tied in with our focus on good manners, moral values, discipline, and respect for all. This is an exciting time in the life of AGS. AGS is a special place where children want to learn, grow and develop and where relationships between all members of the school community are remarkable.
