We believe that Sunshine Bible Academy exists to assist parents with their responsibility to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord by integrating God's truth in all areas of life.
Our curriculum is based on Christian education philosophy that relates biblical truths to every area of learning. All of our faculty and staff are carefully selected based on Christian character and academic preparation. Teachers daily represent Christ to the students, parents, relatives, friends, and community. Knowing that the teacher's worldview gradually shapes the pupil's view, we insist that the teachers show evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to develop their Christian character. Sunshine Bible Academy offers courses in vocal and instrumental music, visual arts, agriscience, industrial technology, world languages, and computer technology in addition to the core subjects of the Bible, English, history, sciences, and mathematics.
Several faculty members meet with students to ensure they stay on track for graduation, begin developing a plan for after high school, complete necessary tests and applications, and explore educational and career opportunities. Sunshine Bible Academy offers a wide array of subjects in core academic and elective areas. High school students interested in pursuing a college education can take dual credit courses during their junior and senior years. Students interested in a vocational school or going directly into the workforce can take hands-on courses.
SBA has a reputation for excellence in fine arts, with students producing outstanding performances in both vocal and instrumental music. SBA drama performances also receive high praise. The ministry team travels around the state combining music and drama to minister in local churches.
