Stoneleigh-Burnham School results from the merger of five girls' schools, dating back to 1869 with the Prospect Hill School of Greenfield, Massachusetts. Our mission then was "to prepare girls for the rigors of a college education." Today, 150 years later, our focus remains the same.
With its history of fostering the development of strong female identities, its small and inclusive multi-cultural environment, and its dedication to understanding how girls best learn and grow, Stoneleigh-Burnham School guides young women to become active agents of their destiny.
