FRA is a remarkable community offering the unique combination of a challenging and supportive educational experience in an inclusive Christian community. Many independent schools provide an excellent education, and others have a faith-based mission, but few do both well. We do at FRA. As a pre-kindergarten through grade 12 school, all one campus, everything we do is connected. We are committed to developing and coordinating our programs to meet our students' needs as the educational landscape changes.

Our graduates are young men and women who are well prepared to succeed at the finest colleges and universities, have a strong sense of purpose, and are eager to make a difference in the world around them. At FRA, we know what matters most. While academic success and college placement are essential to our school community, our students are not a grade point average or a standardized test score. Franklin Road Academy provides a challenging educational experience in an inclusive Christian community with an unwavering commitment to developing leaders of integrity and purpose. We Will:

    • Inspire in our students a lifelong love of learning through a dynamic academic program which will prepare them for success in life
    • Please encourage students to discover their passions through opportunities in academics, the arts, athletics, and servant leadership
    • Nurture leaders of integrity, guided by Christian principles, compelled to lead the lives of compassionate global citizenship.

FRA prepares students to become informed, well-rounded, and confident graduates who go out into the world and fulfill their unique purpose. Our students receive an exceptional education in a nurturing environment while also understanding that they are part of a broader, global community.

As a pre-kindergarten through grade 12 school, we can align our curriculum throughout all three divisions. Our talented faculty members are master teachers, able to connect their subject matter to our students' lives. A passion for developing articulate, creative, and intellectually curious graduates is shared by all faculty, and our teachers design classes that teach students to think critically in an ever-changing world.

From the onset of 9th grade until after graduation, college counselors and grade chairs help each student excel academically and set future goals. They work closely with families to ensure the right academic, social, and financial fit for each student's aspirations.

One hundred percent of FRA graduates are admitted to outstanding 4-year colleges and universities across the county and internationally. With two full-time college counselors for a senior class of about eighty, we can provide a personalized experience for each student. Our college counseling team supports students in crafting robust, thoughtful applications while encouraging them to take ownership of the process. Throughout the year, the college counselors host over one hundred college admissions officers on campus, exposing FRA students to various schools and allowing them to make personal connections with readers of their applications.

In addition to senior programming, FRA's college counseling program also includes seminars and workshops for students in ninth through eleventh grades, ensuring that students understand the college application process early in high school and position themselves for success.

At FRA, spiritual development is an essential part of the complete educational experience. In support of our mission to provide a challenging educational experience in an inclusive Christian community, our spiritual life department is a place where students have an opportunity to dive deeper into their faith and grow as servant leaders.

Sharing a devotion during daily convocations, attending regularly-held chapels, going on mission trips, serving the local community, and becoming involved with ministries like YoungLife and FCA are just a few ways our students encouraged to grow spiritually and to see the needs of others.
