Deciding to enroll your child at Chase may be one of the most important decisions of your life. We take education seriously, and we understand that we are partnering with you to lay a foundation for your child's future success and happiness. Chase has been a leader in education since 1865. We know that every child holds great potential. Our teachers guide your children to succeed by harnessing their passion and sparking their interest.

Our commitment to balance sets us apart. As a day school, our students see the partnership of their home and their classroom. They expect to stretch themselves in academics yet discover a reason to do the same in the arts and athletics. We are proud to be a caring and committed community whose deep involvement instills courage, confidence, and compassion in every student.

We educate tomorrow's leaders and inspire each student with a lifelong passion for learning, personal achievement, and contribution to the community. To fulfill our mission, we:

    • Select bright, intellectually curious, motivated, and resourceful students of diverse backgrounds and interests who are eager to join our community
    • Stretch students to reach their intellectual, ethical, creative, social, and athletic potential
    • Attract and support a dedicated and talented faculty with a shared passion for educating the whole child
    • Develop graduates who write well, speak with clarity and confidence, think critically and analytically, and possess intellectual curiosity
    • Foster respect, courtesy, responsibility, kindness
    • Promote service to the community through active citizenship and concern for the welfare of others
    • Encourage family commitment to the life of the School
    • Cultivate lifelong stewardship and support for the School's distinguished history and traditions.

The Chase Collegiate School Community comprises teachers, students, parents, alumni, grandparents, former faculty, friends, and community leaders, to name a few. Community is integral to the Chase experience. And the Chase community is something that happens organically, not through institutional dictates. At Chase, we are proud to live our mission daily.

Chase Collegiate prides itself on creating and maintaining an environment of respect and kindness for all. Our community includes students and faculty representing various backgrounds, beliefs, and perspectives, all of which not only strengthen the School but serve as an invaluable component of a complete education. We honor this commitment by continually examining our expectations of behavior, communication, and interaction among both students and faculty. Chase's Honor Code reflects those values and reminds students to maintain the appropriate code of conduct and uphold each member of the Chase community's moral expectations.

Chase students are encouraged to explore and appreciate all aspects of diversity in a safe and positive environment. Diversity at Chase encompasses but is not limited to age, socioeconomic background, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, physical ability, and sexual orientation. A school is made stronger when a variety of voices can be confidently and respectfully expressed. We aim to promote self-discovery and individuality and understand, respect, and support each person's ideas and opinions. Our goal is to create an intellectually challenging community of teachers and learners that: recognizes and values a spectrum of viewpoints and life experiences reflect the complex world in which we live, dispels stereotypes and confronts prejudice, rejects cruelty in any form, and inspires us to lead in a global society.

Community is integral to the Chase experience. Through understanding an ethical view of life and a clear set of community standards, our kids know and practice compassion. Students build confidence when teachers promote discussion and provide ample opportunity for all voices to be heard. Students are encouraged and supported to take risks. Through success and failure, they gain the courage to push past what is comfortable and grow.

We have integrated innovation and design thinking into our traditional curriculum – and created three high and low-tech design labs on campus, providing students the knowledge and space to chart their course in terms of their approach to a project and the outcome they produce. Regardless of what the future will look like when Chase students graduate from college, we know the marketplace will reward creative problem solvers. Chase's educational program and innovation challenges create the right conditions for generating solutions.
