At St Paul’s Way Trust we expect each of our graduates to be fully prepared for the opportunities and the demands of the adult world. During each child’s school career, we place a strong emphasis on six key areas: Communication, Investigation, Networking, Participation, Scholarship, and Vision. It is because students learn to excel in these areas that they gain the confidence to become successful global citizens.
Our undergraduate curriculum, which promotes both academic excellence and the development of well-rounded citizens, is the result of very close work with two of our Trustees: Queen Mary University of London and King’s College, London. It is precise because of our unique relationship with these Higher Education institutions, alongside our other University Trust Partners, including Warwick University, University College London, The University of Greenwich, and the University of East London, that we can provide this exciting, relevant, and robust learning experience.
The superb outcomes and the impressive university/career destinations achieved by our students are testaments to the success of our model and our belief that every child can fulfill their potential. Our accomplishments, however, have always been underpinned by the strong partnership forged with our families and the local community.
At St Paul’s Way Trust and Foundation School, we teach a broad and balanced curriculum that teaches elements of democracy, civic responsibility, rules, and laws, the monarchy, equality, values and virtues, environmental awareness, and understanding of all faiths. At St Paul’s Way Trust and Foundation School, values of tolerance and respect permeate all areas of school life. This creates a climate within which pupils feel safe and secure and facilitates the fulfillment of potential. Pupil's voice plays an integral part in driving the school forward and school rules at different levels are seen as the foundation upon which this can be achieved.
Our ‘Personal Development’ program seeks to equip pupils with the skills required for a safe, healthy, and well-informed lifestyle within a modern British society. Personal development sessions relate to personal, social, and health education and provide students with the opportunity to encourage respect for one another and the wider community, show initiative and develop self-awareness. Students tackle a wide range of important issues including drug and alcohol use, sexual relationships, and bullying. Assemblies, external speakers, and workshops are also organized to teach students about important values such as democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance. Students are kept up to date with current affairs through tutor time and assemblies and given opportunities to debate, discuss and develop their critical thinking skills through discussions and extracurricular activities such as debate mate.
Enrichment and extracurricular activities are woven into the fabric of what we offer at St Paul's Way Trust School. Through a wide-ranging program, our youngsters are provided with opportunities that expand their minds and develop their abilities across our graduate skills communication, investigation, networking, participation, scholarship, and vision. We believe that providing a rich and vibrant enrichment program not only increases academic success but also encourages our students to become well-rounded, conscientious citizens confident and resilient enough to excel in life and pursue their aspirations.
