St David’s is a small, happy school which is renowned for its family atmosphere. Our main aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children will develop a respect for and understanding of others and their beliefs, whilst pursuing a curriculum that enables them to maximize every aspect of their creative and academic intelligence.
At St David’s pupils are given every possible encouragement and opportunity to reach their full potential. Pupils’ experiences are enriched by a wide, varied, and imaginative program of extra-curricular activities, which include many team and individual sports, music groups, and creative activities such as drama and gardening.
Our rich and stimulating curriculum is delivered by a talented and caring staff and our small class sizes enable children to receive individual attention and to feel secure, happy, and confident.
St David’s School fosters good relationships between members of staff and the pupils themselves. Bullying, harassment, victimization, and discrimination will not be tolerated. The School and its staff will act fairly about the pupils and parents and we expect the same of pupils and parents about the school.
We attach importance to courtesy, integrity, good manners, good discipline, and respect for the needs of others. Parents warrant that the pupil will take a full part in the activities of the school, will attend each school day, will be punctual, will work hard, will be well-behaved, and will comply with the school rules including the wearing of uniform.

We aim to provide an all-around education in a supportive and happy environment that will challenge every child to fulfill their maximum potential. We aim to educate the whole child, academically, socially, and morally, through a broad and balanced curriculum, so that they can integrate and flourish with confidence in their next school. Great importance is attached to the spiritual background of the School’s life and the training of character. The school is essentially Christian in ethos, but children of every creed are welcome and as Religious Education is non-denominational each child can participate and contribute.
At St David’s we are passionately committed to ensuring that each of our pupils achieves their full potential. As each child progresses through school, their academic progress and social development are carefully monitored. Assessment is carried out through observations and testing in-class time, and by internal exams which take place during the Autumn and Summer Terms. Parents are kept informed about their child’s progress with termly and half-termly ‘Interim’ reports and Parents’ Evenings are held three times a year. In addition, parents are welcome to discuss any problem, whether academic or otherwise, with their child’s Form or Subject teacher at any time.
