In Saint Charles' Primary School every pupil matters, every moment counts. We want school to be an enjoyable experience where children are given values for life - wisdom, justice, compassion, and integrity. We are committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of everyone in the school community. We aim to teach the children to make healthy choices even when we are not there to guide them. In Saint Charles' Primary School, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and we hope that everyone quickly feels a valued member of our school community.

In Saint Charles’ Primary, we strive to give children values for life - wisdom, justice, compassion, and integrity. As a Catholic school, we believe that love is at the heart of our endeavors: love of God and love of neighbor as oneself.

At Saint Charles’ Primary we strive to be an excellent school while encouraging our children to love life, live it to the full, and gain the confidence to say the following statements:

    • I love learning and I can be proud
    • I love my school and I can help to make it excellent
    • I am loved and feel part of my school community
    • I love best and I can be a good citizen
    • I will always love learning and I can do well

Saint Charles' Primary School was built in 1901. A large extension was added in 1932 by William Mc Craig who was the Education Departments Architect. Presently the building also accommodates the Voluntary Tutors Organisation and an independent Language Unit.
