Of course, there is a considerable focus on academic achievement at Rhydri Primary School. We are very proud of the high standards in teaching and learning that we provide for our children as well as the development of their spiritual, moral, and social education. However, we also pride ourselves in the provision of a broader curriculum, extra-curricular activities and emphasize the importance of the enjoyment of learning and having fun.
The school endeavors to maintain an environment that encourages productive achievement and helps children develop social awareness and self-discipline. We aim to encourage children to develop respect for themselves, other people, and the environment learn positive strategies for dealing with problems understand that everyone is part of a community in which it is necessary to contribute as well as to take and appreciate that rules are established for everyone’s safety and well being.
