Newbury Park Primary School is a large community school for children aged 3 to 11 years old, situated at the heart of the London Borough of Redbridge. Our vision of becoming a center of excellence in education is centered on:

Our wider curriculum provides many opportunities for children to develop their awareness of keeping safe and healthy to try out different skills in a range of clubs and enjoy the experiences of engaging in a range of educational visits, including the residential and the odd school sleepover.
Children who are educated at Newbury Park achieve extremely well, make excellent progress, and are well prepared for secondary school. Our results show high academic standards and our current Ofsted report is very positive. Through our core values, personality and behaviors we will understand our pupils’ individual needs and develop their character so that they will be able to apply their education to the real world, and by that, become productive citizens who will be inspired to achieve beyond the expected.
The school curriculum at Newbury Park consists of the National Curriculum and the Extended Curriculum, which is tailored to meet the needs of our pupil community. It supports our school motto of ‘Inspiring Learners’ and endorses the school’s core values, namely: Integrity, Courage, Respect, Ambition. We have started the journey to develop an outstanding school curriculum. We want a curriculum that:
- Is fit for purpose in the modern era.
- Prepares our pupils exceptionally well for success in the next stage of their learning and
- Inspires our pupils to excel and achieve the best that they can.
We are developing a subject and themed approach to the school curriculum. This mix will ensure that pupils acquire essential knowledge, develop key skills through the core areas of learning and also enable a wider more purposeful application to the use of skills in practice.
Our guiding principle is one of inclusion and we aim to provide Quality First Teaching for all our pupils. This includes appropriate differentiation for individual pupils, high-quality resources, and effective use of additional adult support. We aim to identify and break down possible barriers to learning so that all our pupils experience success. This does not mean treating all pupils equally it means treating all pupils as individuals and ensuring they have the required provision to achieve the best possible progress.
