Throughout the session, various activities, events, and the meeting will be arranged to involve parents and the community in the life of the school. The process of education starts long before children come to school. It is continuous and parental involvement in education is crucial. Should you wish to discuss your child’s progress or have any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school immediately. A member of the management team will attend to your query/concern as soon as possible, certainly within the day, and if necessary a follow-up appointment will be made.

Situated in Govanhill, on the south side of Glasgow, Holy Cross Primary currently caters for 589 pupils, with 20 classes covering all primary years from Primary 1 to Primary 7 on a co-educational basis. 62% of the school’s pupils are from ethnic minorities. 16% of the school’s pupils are on placing requests. The school can cater for 599 pupils (parents should note that the operational capacity of the school may vary, dependent upon the number of pupils at each stage and on the way classes are organized). The school has a three-story red sandstone building of the central well design, which was popular in the Edwardian era.
