Welcome to the Ferry Lane Primary School. Ferry Lane Primary School sits at the heart of its community, situated on a residential estate near Tottenham Hale Station in Haringey, London. We are very proud of our school. Ferry Lane is a special place to be and we are a caring and supportive school.
We believe in developing all children’s love of learning in a safe and stimulating environment. We promote E.P.I.C. teaching and learning striving to ensure that our children’s learning is exciting, pacey, involving, and challenging.
At Ferry Lane, we are understanding, respectful, and with a positive attitude towards the life, we aspire to achieve here and beyond. We strive to develop world-class citizens for the future and we have a collective belief that will ensure that we do: If we consider any aspect of our provision to be of a standard that would not be good enough for our children, then it would certainly not be good enough for the young people at Ferry Lane Primary School. With this mantra in mind, we work tirelessly every day to develop our school into the very best it can be.

Our learning community consists of local, national, and global links and each branch of Ferry Lane takes pride in excellence. We aim to ensure every child in our school reaches their full potential and has the skills to cope with secondary education so that they can go on to fulfill their dreams.

Ferry Lane has undergone some exciting changes to enrich the curriculum and enhance opportunities for learning across all subjects. The national programs of study for each subject have been broken down into segments and embedded back into our curriculum in a way that provides cross-curricular links and makes learning sequences meaningful and purposeful.
We are excited to announce that these changes will be brought in from the Spring term and, along with a brand new scheme of work for History and Geography, we are confident that this rich and vibrant curriculum will create outstanding teaching and learning provision for all pupils.
Ferry Lane Primary is striving for the Gold Award Primary Science Quality Mark which is a prestigious award that recognizes outstanding delivery of science across a school. Having held several events over the past year, and as well as delivering outstanding teaching and learning through the science curriculum, we are well on track to achieve this.
Science has been at the forefront of our priorities and we have adopted a whole-school approach to ensure not only that the profile of science is elevated, but that we are using innovative ways to capture pupils’ enthusiasm and passion in the subject.
