Lighthouse International School is the only foreign school in Gunsan City. Our purpose is to meet the educational and spiritual needs of the English-speaking business, military, and diplomatic community.
Our school includes students from several English-speaking nations and ranges from kindergarten to 12th grade. Through our committed and caring faculty, our comprehensive and challenging academic programs, and our extracurricular opportunities, LIS enriches the lives of students, challenging them to reach their highest potential in all aspects of life.

Lighthouse International School uses Bob Jones University Press and Accelerated Christian Education® (ACE) curriculum, which is built upon the following five basic laws of learning:

Lighthouse International School accepts students of all races, ages, and gender. Even though we are primarily a school for the foreign community of Gunsan City, special allowances are possible for Korean children who have a working knowledge of English.
