Welcome to Gulf British Academy, a co-educational primary school with ages ranging from Pre-KG to Year 6. As a school, we follow the English National Curriculum, and the children are taught by qualified, dedicated, and experienced staff.The staff cater to the individual needs of each pupil and aim to give the children a positive learning experience in a safe and nurturing environment where they feel valued and are given a wide range of opportunities to develop their strengths and talents.We believe that our pupils should be encouraged at all times to do well academically. Pupils can take part in a variety of after-school activities which are fun and varied. They are also encouraged to develop their social and personal skills, showing mutual respect between adults and themselves.We believe that parents have a vital part to play in their child’s educational development so we offer workshops for parents to help them understand how the curriculum works and how the school operates daily. This establishes a close link between home and school so that parents too feel valued.Our ethos and values begin with our motto: Grow, Build, Achieve, and are driven by the belief that tomorrow’s world truly is in today’s classroom.We create a family atmosphere in our school to help pupils develop their personalities in a secure and caring environment. These are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for our Pre-KG, KG, and Reception classes, and the new National Curriculum in England for Years 1 and 2 (Key Stage 1) and Years 3 to 6 (Key Stage 2).All subjects are taught in English except for the Arabic program, which is prescribed directly by the Ministry of Education in Kuwait. Staff also receive continuous in-house and outsourced professional development to ensure that teaching remains focused and effective, and best adapted to meet our pupils’ needs.
