The school is deemed as one of the oldest and most reputable educational institutions in the Arab world. In the holy city of Jerusalem, in the year 1896, the school was founded by the late venerable educationist (Sheikh Muhammad Suleiman Al- Saleh). After his decease, his posterity marched on his path holding the banner of education high. His youngest daughter, Mrs. Naimeh Barakat, along with her husband, the late Mr. Jamil Barakat headed towards Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and established two model schools. Later on, Mrs. Barakat with her sons and grandsons added another precious stone to the necklace by establishing a model school in Amman- Jordan in the year 1989 to become one exemplary edifice in education.
