The Egyptian American School is a unique educational model school. It offers a focus on differentiated instruction, student-centered learning, and the practical application of learned scientific theories. EAS has been perfecting this since 2002. We offer an optimal blend of intellectual development, community and leadership opportunities beginning at the very early stages of learning, and the skills of questioning that will uniquely prepare students for shifting industries and careers as well as entrepreneurial ventures. Lastly, EAS believes in stakeholder-driven decisions and the home-school open-door communication policy. No suggestion or concern goes unattended.
The fundamental goal of the Egyptian American School is to provide a positive environment where all students are encouraged by administration, teachers, staff, and parents to become life-long learners, to earn an American high school diploma or its equivalent, and to be responsible members of the community. To accomplish the basic goal, emphasis is placed on the assessment of individual needs and the pursuit of individual goals.
School's mission to provide and improve conditions in which our students can learn and acquire new skills to reinforce their self-dependence and confidence in facing today’s demanding and challenging world through the achievement of excellence in the quality of our educational system as well as enhancing our students’ academic and professional lives by helping them to reach their full potentials in learning and uplifting their eagerness and motivation for being effective citizens in their society.
Successfully accredited by AdvancED for over 12 years now, EAS follows the Common Core standards that have been adopted throughout most of the United States. Not only do we adhere to performance standards and school quality factors set forth by AdvancED, but we also strive to excel in all of them through an ongoing improvement plan accompanied by stakeholder involvement and ongoing professional development within the EAS team. Coupled with that is the revising and adapting of our curricula on an ongoing basis which enables us to keep up with the educational trends in the United States while fostering our Egyptian culture at the same time.
