Nadeen School is dedicated to providing a warm, caring community where children feel happy and secure. Through encouragement and commitment, we ensure that each child reaches their full potential. We look at every child as an individual and celebrate academic, personal, social, and creative development.
Our open-door policy and the partnership we have with parents and carers play a large part in supporting their child's learning and celebrating their achievements. We work closely with parents to ensure that the time their child spends with us is safe and happy, and successful. Our many school events promote this valued partnership. As many of our new families are new to Bahrain, we ensure that from initial contact in admissions to the child leaving the school, families feel welcome at the school and part of the Nadeen School "family." A Year 6 pupil described our school as "Small school, big family," which has now become our school motto.
Nadeen School is dedicated to providing a caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which all children can learn and thrive. All of our students are treated with respect, care, and the utmost sensitivity to their individual needs and requirements.
To maintain excellent educational standards to enable the children to move confidently into the next part of their education by equipping them with the tools necessary to be confident in the main areas of Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Science, Geography and History, Music and Drama, Art, Design and Technology, Information Technology, Physical Education, and Citizenship Skills. To learn through experience and experiment within a caring and encouraging environment.
We teach the English National Curriculum, which we adapt to our needs and enrich with extra-curricular activities, trips, and special days. We cater to all children's needs through extensive programs of learning support and English as an additional language alongside plenty of challenge and exciting extension activities.
We believe in a holistic approach to learning and developing the whole child, not just a narrow focus on academic achievement. We do this in many ways, but an example is the Nadeen School Farm, where we grow vegetables and keep chickens and ducks and the occasional visiting goat.
Nadeen School, established in 1978, is a Primary School consisting of Pre-School, Infant, and Junior sections, with classes from Pre-Nursery through to Year 6. Children attend the school from 2-11 years of age. We follow the English National Curriculum and supplement our activities and learning with different schemes and resources from Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and elsewhere. We are, along with only one other English National Curriculum school in Bahrain, an accredited member of the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME) association and a registered British School Overseas (BSO), recognized by the UK Department for Education.
