Choosing a child's schooling environment is one of the most important decisions you will make as a family. At Fremantle Christian College, we partner with parents to provide a transformational journey that will equip your child for a successful and fulfilling life. We are dedicated to bringing hope and purpose through a Christ-centred culture and an excellent education program.
Being an open enrollment primary and secondary College, we invite families of all backgrounds to enjoy the opportunities our community has to offer and benefit from our expert staff's support, engaging Curriculum, and our quality pastoral care program. We are committed to educating the whole-person as each student strives to excel academically, and we value the development of Faith, Character, and Courage in every student.
Fremantle Christian College has served students and their families in the Cockburn and Fremantle areas for 25 years. The College has maintained a good standing within the surrounding community. It offers something unique in preparing children for life and encouraging them to become the best that they can be.
Secondary education is an exciting step for students. Students experience personal growth as they develop intellectually and are exposed to academic, sporting, and personal achievement. Students will begin to make decisions and choices regarding their education and the direction they wish to undertake in the future.
Fremantle Christian College aims to equip students for their future life, study, and work. With that in mind, the College curriculum is innovative, challenging, and comprehensive. The Curriculum is based on The Australian National Curriculum and the Western Australian K - 10 Syllabus.
Year 7 is the first year of Secondary education and, as such, provides an introduction to the routine and rigor of senior school. The Curriculum allows for both core subjects and specialist elective subjects to be introduced, and many new skills are learned. Integral to this process is the development of the personal organization and time management skills, all of which enhance study habits.
