We are looking to hire a direct hire, fixed-term Customer Support Technicians that will have an expected timeline of about 6 months. This may be extended depending on workload and performance evaluations. Job SummaryUnder direct supervision, provides technical advice, guidance and formal or informal training to customers using hardware and software programs. While building a general understanding of services provided and departmental functions, helps colleagues troubleshoot and restore service or gather and document information for next level support. Helps perform root cause analysis and develop checklists for typical problems. May assist in recommending procedures and controls for problem prevention. Contributes to maintenance of knowledge database and call tracking database to enhance quality of problem resolution. May request procedures (or changes to procedures) for problem prevention and control. Works in a team setting, sharing information and assisting others with calls. Essential FunctionsWorking with direct supervision, in a fast-paced, changing environment, and while meeting or exceeding the defined levels for service and customer satisfaction, serves as the first point of Digital Services (DS) contact for Corewell Health users who report hardware or software issues. Following the appropriate processes, policies and procedures, creates concise, timely and detailed written documentation of activities related to service requests, which include incidents, requests and change orders. Demonstrates excellence in customer service skills, including patience, empathy, good listening and follow through. Utilizes general knowledge of services and departmental functions, along with experience and established triages (or other knowledge) to resolve routine issues or provide mini training sessions for users. May collaborate with more experienced colleagues as a team to resolve technical issues, and when needed, follow the documented processes for escalation. Performs service restoration analysis to facilitate the quick return of functionality to users, even when the cause of an issue is not yet determined or fixed. Remains alert for emerging call patterns as an indicator of trends or systemic issues. Documents best practices and triages when appropriate and works with various technical teams to create or to improve documentation, and controls to prevent future problems. Contributes to the maintenance and support of both the knowledge and call tracking databases. Looks for opportunities to learn from more experienced Customer Support Technicians. About the unit 2 West is comprised of a 23 bed Med Surg Unit and a 23 bed Post- Surgical Unit. We have a very friendly staff who are welcoming and willing to mentor new RNs. We handle medium to high acuity patients with a 5 to 6 patient ratio. Our team is passionate about patient care and shared governance. About Taylor Hospital A Magnet-designated hospital that is a recognized health care leader serving the area since 1977. Essential FunctionsConduct high-volume outbound member outreach calls to address medication adherence gaps and improve Medicare Star measure performance (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, statin). Educate members on the importance of medication adherence and assist in overcoming barriers (e.g., transportation concerns, setting up refill reminders). Assist members in understanding their pharmacy benefits and refer to appropriate internal teams when needed (e.g., Care Management, Mail Order Pharmacy). Identify and assist in resolving pharmacy billing issues or access barriers impacting adherence outcomes. Process medication refill requests and coordinate communication between members, pharmacies, and providers. Identify and transfer members to a license clinical pharmacist to resolve medication-related issues and improve member outcomes. Job SummaryPerforms a variety of duties involved in equipment, materials, linens and supplies for an assigned area. Tasks may include inventory, inventory selection, stocking, receiving, delivering and other similar functions to ensure supplies and materials are readily available at various locations. Utilizes computer based inventory management system to perform daily functions. Works closely with other team members from supply chain and staff throughout the system to provide exceptional care for our customers. Essential FunctionsResponds to incoming requisitions received via fax, intranet, hardcopy and telephone from various customers by dispensing inventory supplies and equipment in a timely manner, or order equipment/supplies from third party vendor. Performs other duties as assigned.Maintains inventory levels of supplies, materials, equipment and/or linens. Rotates stock, cleans and straightens up products to assure a neat and orderly appearance of inventory location and work area.Uses a handheld computer or other methods to manage inventory. Transmit or input information to main computer system to record accurate inventory levels.Break down delivery carts and/or pallets and assemble order(s) to be delivered to requesting unit.Delivers products and/or equipment to requesting location following proper delivery techniques and safety guidelines (cart covers applied when needed, proper stacking and load securing)Remove soiled linen and/or products from nursing units to designated holding area following universal safety precautions (based on specific entity and location).Pack products in totes, boxes, pallets, or carts according to proper packing techniques for delivery.
