About the roleThe Overnight Cook prepares and serves food items for guests and employee during the overnight shift in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.  What you will do Prepare and serve food of consistent quality following recipe cards as well as production, portion, and presentation standards per order from servers; often working alone or without direct supervision.   Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not prepare beyond estimated needs.   Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.   Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages; return all food items not used to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables; assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage per policies.   Assist with prep-work for next shift and with cleaning operations of the kitchen and storage areas.  Assist with food preparation in other kitchen areas when needed What you bring Cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.   A minimum of two years culinary experience.  Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill.  Proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.  Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian language. The Overnight Security Officer is a part of a team responsible for the security and safety measures throughout the Hotel. The Opportunity: Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently looking for an Overnight Guest Services Attendant (Part Time) Basic Purpose: Creates an engaging and inviting arrival experience for all guests and patrons by welcoming them to the Hotel and safely parking their car in the Hotel garage.  Assist with luggage and deliveries to guest rooms and provide a fond farewell for departing guests at the Hotel. Essential function of the job: Greets all guests and delivers luggage to room upon check-in during overnight hours, picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the front drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pickups.Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assist guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, directions, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.Assist the Concierge and Front Desk with deliveries, tasks and special requests.Receives vehicles from guests and drives to the hotel garage, adhering to all traffic regulations, and speed limits, using caution not to damage the vehicle being driven and other vehicles in the vicinity. Pick up vehicles when requested in a timely manner. Yields to pedestrians.Assesses any damage to vehicle. Clearly notes any damage on claim ticket along with location of vehicle when parked.
