By applying to this Data Analyst internship, you will be considered for opportunities across multiple teams and projects with the Enterprise Technology segment with locations in Burbank, Orlando, and Seattle. What You Will Do
Be the “Voice of the Customer” by working with our stakeholders to understand their most important needs and problems
Data analysis and reporting to capture KPIs, service utilization, and inform change enablement activities
Work with product owners and senior business analysts in areas such as team backlog management, documentation, user stories and end user training
Monitor changes to program backlog and communicate with senior business analysts to determine impacts to team backlog, sprint, or iteration
Help collect business requirements, perform analysis and document user stories
Evaluate the delivered stories against the definition of done and the established acceptance criteria
Participate in assigned projects
Required Qualifications & Skills
Technology background or applicable technology skills
Familiarity with Python/R or other statistical programming languages
Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau, Jupyter, Power BI, etc.
Demonstrated technical or creative writing skills, able to translate complex ideas into understandable user stories
Customer service orientation with demonstrated experience building strong relationships with internal or external stakeholders
A self-starter, who can effectively navigate a complex organizational structure, achieving results through influence and collaboration
Education
Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Informatics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science / Information Systems, Business Administration, or another degree in a related technical discipline and returning to school following the internship
Eligibility Requirements & Internship Information
Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class prior to participation in the summer internship program OR currently participating in a Disney Internship
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
All interns are required to provide their own housing and transportation during the internship
