The Opportunity
From the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night consider the media you consume, the adverts you see, the apps you use, the websites you browse and almost all of the shopping you do online throughout the day. Chances are that every single one of those interactions, every single one of those experiences, was touched by an Adobe product.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a team of Site Reliability Engineers (SWEs with DevOps flavor) to join our Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) CloudTech group, based in Bucharest. We’re right on the platform cross-cutting area, with teams and services relying on our services and tools to build, deploy, run and monitor their applications across multiple clouds.
What You'll Do
Research and prototype cross-cloud deployment pipelines, database technologies and tools.
Design & build the next-gen productivity engineering platform
Interact with a large range of teams and help them succeed in building our groundbreaking products across multiple cloud providers.
Be part of an autonomous Scrum team, having as primary goal to build high-performance, secure software components that are part of our stack. You, and the rest of the team, will be accountable for their design, implementation and uptime.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Computer Science degree and / or 5+ years of relevant work experience
Strong understanding on developing, architecting and running SaaS type of products
Excellent understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, software life-cycle, source control tools
Experience with cloud services platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
Experience with Java Virtual Machine related languages, GO or Python will be considered a plus
Knowledge in both building but also operating a service: CI/CD deployments, monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus), Kubernetes-based deployments, infrastructure as code and provisioning tools (Terraform, Saltstack)
Experience with NoSql technologies (e.g. Kafka, Cassandra, HBase) will be considered a plus
A sharp eye for security related issues and performance bottlenecks
Agile / Scrum project management methodologies
Proven ability to research and become proficient in new technologies
Passionate about computer science, developing software & internet applications
