Job Description
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. The ability to move equipment and supplies between classrooms and floors, and assist Simulation Instructors in setting up equipment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, or the Military Training Network.
Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree, basic knowledge/understanding of health care, and working familiarity/experience with simulation.
Formal Accountability: Reports to the Simulation Lab Program Director
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Simulation Lab Program Director, the Simulation Assistant will assist with:
a. Organizing and maintaining inventory, including equipment and supplies, to ensure requisite equipment and supplies are on-site and available for student learning activities. 20%
b. Setting up simulation activities, equipment and supplies. 30%
c. Breaking down and storing simulation activities, equipment and supplies. 30%
d. Coordinating Simulation room reservations with the Simulation Center. 15%
e. Other duties as assigned. 5%
