At EY, we develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences. We empower you in a flexible environment, and fuel you and your extraordinary talents in a diverse and inclusive culture of globally connected teams. We work together across our full spectrum of services and skills powered by technology and AI, so that business, people and the planet can thrive together.

We’re all in, are you?

Join EY and shape your future with confidence.

The Opportunity:

At EY, we help clients design and deliver digital services that create better experiences for users while achieving meaningful business outcomes.
We are looking for an experienced UX Service Designer to join our team and work on complex digital transformation programmes. You will work at the intersection of users, business and technology, helping clients understand user needs, redesign end-to-end services, and translate insights into practical digital experiences that can be successfully delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate discovery, ideation, co-creation and stakeholder workshops.
  • Conduct user research, interviews and contextual inquiry to understand user needs, behaviours and pain points.
  • Design current and future-state customer and employee journeys, service blueprints, personas, experience maps and process flows.
  • Translate research and business needs into practical service concepts, user flows, requirements and experience designs.
  • Develop information architectures, wireframes and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, FigJam and Miro.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing and use findings to continuously improve designs.
  • Apply accessibility, inclusive-design and WCAG principles throughout the design process.
  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, developers and testers to ensure designs are desirable, feasible and implementable.
  • Apply design systems and reusable patterns to create consistent digital experiences.
  • Use data and research evidence to support design decisions and recommendations.
  • Present concepts, research findings and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Lead defined UX and service-design workstreams from discovery through implementation.
  • Contribute to proposals, client presentations and reusable design methods and assets.
  • Explore appropriate use of AI-enabled tools to improve research, design and delivery activities.

To qualify for the role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Service Design, Product Design, Business, Information Systems, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in UX design, service design, experience design or human-centred design.
  • Strong user-research and workshop-facilitation skills.
  • Hands-on experience creating journeys, service blueprints, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma and collaborative tools such as FigJam or Miro.
  • Experience with usability testing, accessibility, inclusive design and design systems.
  • Understanding of end-to-end service design beyond visual or UI design, including people, processes, technology and operational considerations.
  • Ability to translate user needs and research findings into actionable designs and work effectively with business and technology teams.
  • Strong stakeholder-management, presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
  • Ability to independently structure and lead design activities in ambiguous or complex environments.
  • Experience in consulting, enterprise or public-sector digital transformation, information architecture, Adobe Creative Cloud and AI-enabled design or delivery would be advantageous.

What We Look For:

You are a collaborative and pragmatic designer who is curious about how the entire service works, not just how the interface looks.

You are comfortable moving from research and discovery through service design, prototyping, testing and implementation, and working alongside clients, business teams and engineers to turn user needs into digital services that work in the real world.

Join EY and help shape the next generation of user-centred digital services.
