The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Pega Lead to lead the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise-scale Pega solutions.
The role combines Pega technical leadership, solution architecture, delivery oversight and client engagement. You will work closely with clients, business stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable Pega solutions and provide technical direction throughout implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design and implementation of Pega applications.
• Translate business and user requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable Pega solution designs.
  
• Define solution architecture across case management, workflows, data models, integrations, security and access controls.
  
• Establish and enforce Pega development standards, guardrails and reusable design patterns.
  
• Conduct architecture, solution and code reviews, providing technical guidance to Pega developers and technical leads.
  
• Lead technical discovery and solution-design workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
  
• Develop solution options, technical estimates and implementation approaches, clearly communicating technical decisions and trade-offs.
• Provide technical oversight across design, development, testing, deployment and production support.
  
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, performance issues and technical debt.
  
• Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX/Service Designers, QA and engineering teams to support successful delivery.
  
• Explain complex technical concepts clearly to senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and mentor Pega developers and technical leads.
  
• Support proposals, technical presentations, solution demonstrations and other pre-sales activities where required.

To qualify for the role, you will need: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  
• Strong professional experience designing and delivering enterprise applications using the Pega Platform.
  
• Demonstrated experience as a Pega Technical Lead, Lead System Architect, Solution Architect or equivalent.
  
• Strong knowledge of Pega case management, workflows, data models, data pages, integrations, security and access controls.
  
• Strong understanding of Pega guardrails, application architecture, performance optimisation and deployment practices.
  
• Experience leading solution architecture and technical design for complex enterprise implementations.
  
• Experience conducting architecture and code reviews and resolving complex technical issues.
  
• Experience working across the delivery lifecycle, from discovery and design through development, testing, deployment and production support.
  
• Experience working with Agile delivery and DevSecOps practices.
  
• Strong stakeholder-management, problem-solving, presentation and communication skills.
  
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams and engage effectively with senior client stakeholders.
  
• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
  
• Experience with complex enterprise, regulated or public-sector transformation programmes would be advantageous.
  
• Pega Certified Lead System Architect (PCLSA) preferred; Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) with relevant architecture and technical leadership experience will also be considered.
