Consultant – Immigration & Mobility Operations – People Advisory Services

The opportunity

As part of the EY Egypt Nearshore Payroll Operate team, you will support Immigration & Mobility Operations under the responsibility of the Country Manager in end-to-end service delivery. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders across locations and approved local vendors.
Apply EY Mobility, Independence, Quality and Risk Management, and other applicable internal requirements.

Your key responsibilities

•  Coordinate daily operational activities under the Libya Country Manager’s supervision, take ownership of assigned actions and provide backup when required.
•  Manage assigned immigration and mobility cases end to end, including document review, stakeholder follow-up, deadline management, status updates and closure.
• Maintain accurate case trackers and proactively highlight delays, risks, dependencies or sensitive matters for timely escalation.
• Coordinate with approved local vendors and internal stakeholders across locations to support service delivery, internal billing and applicable quality and risk requirements.
•  Validate delivered services, support invoice readiness and prepare reporting on billable, pending and invoiced activities.
•  Provide timely operational support for urgent travel, immigration or airport situations, escalating matters in line with the agreed framework.
•  Support practical improvements to processes, trackers, reporting, escalation mechanisms and communication channels.

Skills and attributes for success

You are organized, dependable and comfortable taking ownership while working within a clear supervision and escalation framework. You communicate effectively across locations, apply sound judgment under time pressure and maintain a strong discipline around follow-up, documentation and reporting.

To qualify for the role

• Relevant experience in immigration, global mobility, business travel, professional services operations or a comparable service-delivery environment.

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases, deadlines, trackers and multiple stakeholders with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear operational and management reporting.

• Working knowledge of MENA Countries immigration, business travel and mobility requirements, with a disciplined approach to validating guidance through approved sources or vendors.

•Ability to apply internal processes, documentation standards, controls and escalation requirements consistently.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Fluency in Arabic and English to support communication with local vendors, employees and international stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating vendors, internal billing, invoice readiness or financial reporting.
• A continuous-improvement mindset and experience strengthening operational processes or reporting tools.
