The Digital Tech Prod Mgmt Senior Grp Mgr manages multiple teams through other managers. In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors' products and services, is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary. Responsible for executing functional strategy in area managed. Determines approach to implementing functional strategy. Accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of the area(s). Impact reflects size of team managed, strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses. Full management responsibility for multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. May be doing involved or responsible for diverse (cross-discipline) activities. Typically, a direct report to a C16 role and function as an intergral member of the functional leadership team within a country/site location, job family, or line of business

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead on the design, implementation, and successful delivery of large-scale or significantly difficult software solutions that have a long-term impact on a product, technology or architecture.
• Design approaches and the code you personally contribute is noteworthy in some way (e.g., a significant refactor that simplifies or improves architectural quality, enables us to maintain a competitive advantage, offers significant extensibility, performance, scalability, or has organization-wide operational excellence impact). Identify and tackle intrinsically hard problems. (e.g., highly complex, ambiguous, undefined, with less existing structure, or having significant business or security risk or potential for significant impact).
• Deliver artifacts that set the standard within your organization for engineering excellence, from designs to algorithms to implementations. Your personal code submissions and reviews of other people’s code are instructive and make the overall code corpus better.
• Lead and actively participate in design reviews, aligning teams across your organization towards coherent architectural strategies. You bring clarity to complexity, probe assumptions, illuminate pitfalls, and foster shared understanding.
• You are a pragmatic problem solver, applying judgment and experience to balance trade-offs between competing interests. You are flexible, adapting your approach to meet the needs of the team, project, and product.
• Actively recruit as well as participate in the hiring/interview process.
• Play a significant role in the career development of others, actively mentoring and educating the larger SDE community on trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Keep abreast of industry trends. You effectively research and benchmark our technology against other competing software in the industry. You understand that many problems are not essentially new.
• Contribute to intellectual property (e.g., invent, submit patents, etc.)
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant experience in a product line management, e-commerce, and/or strategic planning role.
• Significant experience building complex business and/or transactional models.
• Has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products / services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.
• Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
• First-class leadership and influencing skills, including experience managing a Software Engineering Team
• Demonstrated interpersonal and talent management skills, including the ability to identify and develop product management talent.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Liderar el laboratorio responsable de diseñar, construir, validar, desplegar y escalar soluciones basadas en IA generativa, arquitecturas agénticas y automatización avanzada para generar beneficios medibles para el banco.   

 

Responsabilidades principales 

• Definir el plan de desarrollo de soluciones Agenticas del banco
• Priorizar casos de uso 
• Liderar equipos multidisciplinarios. 
• Dirigir diseño de flujos agénticos. 
• Supervisar pruebas, liberación y monitoreo. 
• Establecer gobierno y control de riesgos. 
• Medir ROI e impacto
• Evaluación técnica de los casos de uso propuestos: viabilidad, complejidad, riesgo y costo/esfuerzo.
• Selección y justificación de herramientas y modelos LLM, considerando costo, accuracy y cumplimiento de seguridad.

IA Generativa, LLMs, arquitecturas agénticas, Python, APIs, AWS, Spark, SQL, MLOps/LLMOps, evaluación de modelos, liderazgo de equipos y gestión de stakeholders. 

 

Skillsdeseables 

Experiencia bancaria, Databricks, Azure OpenAI, Kubernetes, Responsible AI, Design Thinking y FinOps. 

 

Perfilprofesional

• Ingeniería en computación, sistemas, software, ciencia de datos o afín
• 12+ años de experiencia profesional
• Experiencia en construcción de soluciones agenticas con LLMs o IA generativa
• Proyectos demostrables donde haya diseñado e integrado agentes de IA o pipelines de extracción de información (GitHub, portafolio o casos documentados)
• Capacidad de traducir requerimientos de negocio en especificaciones técnicas
