Job Description

Forward Deployed Engineer（FDE） は、戦略的なエンタープライズのお客様の組織内に直接入り込み、お客様のエンジニアリングチームと共に、AIを活用した本番システムを設計・構築・デプロイ・運用します。FDEは本番品質のソフトウェアを開発し、プロトタイプからエンタープライズ規模でのデプロイまで、成果に対してエンドツーエンドで責任を持ちます。AWS SDEとしての技術的な厳密さに加え、計測可能なビジネス成果をお客様に届けるためのスピード感とオーナーシップを兼ね備えています。また、FDE組織全体の活動をスケールさせるための再利用可能なアーキテクチャ、パターン、エンジニアリングの仕組みを創出します。

Key job responsibilities
お客様向け案件における技術的デリバリーのリード
・複数のワークストリームにまたがるお客様のAIに関する複雑な計画についての技術戦略とその実行に対する責任
・複数のサービスや組織の境界をまたぐアーキテクチャ上の意思決定を実施
・技術的アプローチとお客様の長期的なテクノロジー戦略との整合の担保

大規模な本番AIシステムの設計・構築
・最も複雑なお客様案件において、マルチエージェント・オーケストレーション、エンタープライズ検索システム、意思決定のためのインテリジェンス・プラットフォームなどの基盤アーキテクチャを設計
・ビジネス課題も技術的アプローチも十分に定義されていない状況における方向性の明確化
・エンタープライズ規模のトラフィックと信頼性要件に対応する本番システムの構築

ワークストリーム全体での本番運用品質への責任
・担当範囲のAIシステムについて、運用基準、評価フレームワーク、本番稼働準備の判定基準を定義
・テスト戦略、オブザーバビリティ基準、障害対応プレイブックなど、AIシステムの健全性を維持するための仕組みの確立
・チーム全体の水準を引き上げる運用改善の推進

チームの生産性・影響力のスケール
・エンジニアリングパターンの定義、面接・採用プロセスへの参画、育成
・システム設計、お客様とのエンゲージメント、本番運用についての他のメンバーへのコーチング
・担当範囲内でのエンジニアリング・エクセレンス基準の推進

お客様の変革の加速
・お客様の組織全体でのAI活用を拡大するための、構造的な機会の発見
・価値実現までの期間を数か月から数週間へ短縮するためのアクセラレーターや再利用可能なプラットフォームの開発
・得られた知見のAWSのサービスやFDE組織へのフィードバック

Basic Qualifications:

- 5年以上のプロフェッショナルなソフトウェア開発経験
- メンター、テックリード、またはエンジニアリングチームを率いた経験
- 本番規模でのエージェントを用いた開発および仕様駆動開発を主導した経験
- AIツールの使用経験：評価用フレームワーク、エージェントツール、RAGパイプライン、プロンプトエンジニアリング
- ビジネスレベルの日本語能力

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience building or deploying AI/ML applications at enterprise production scale
- Background as a founder, engineering lead, or startup builder with high ownership and urgency
- Experience architecting and delivering complex, multi-component systems in customer production environments
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and/or Go
- Experience leading customer-facing technical projects or managing external stakeholder relationships
- 3+ years of experience working in an Agile, startup, or rapidly scaling environment
