Job Description

Are you ready to shape the future with confidence?
Will you shape the future or will the future shape you? How will we work better together to build a better working world?

Here at EY, you'll have the chance to build a truly exceptional experience. We'll empower you with the latest technology, surround you with high-performing teams, and provide the global scale and diverse and inclusive culture you need to discover your full potential. Through our coaching and training programs, you'll develop the skills you need to stay relevant today and in the future, all while building a network of colleagues, mentors, and leaders who will be on the journey with you at EY and beyond.

The opportunity:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented ACR Administrator to join our Accounting, Compliance & Reporting (ACR) team in Aruba. In this supporting role, you will be the administrative backbone of the team. You'll help our client-serving professionals work efficiently by keeping files, documentation, planning and administrative processes accurate, complete and on time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the ACR team, including managers, seniors and staff.
  • Request, receive, register and track client documentation (e.g., PBC lists), and follow up on outstanding items in coordination with the engagement team.
  • Organize and maintain engagement files and archives in line with EY guidelines and quality standards.
  • Support the team with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing and recording client source documents in accounting software.
  • Prepare and update engagement administration in internal systems, including setting up new engagements and client data.
  • Assist with billing preparation and help monitor outstanding invoices and accounts receivable.
  • Keep track of team planning, deadlines and agenda items, and send timely reminders.
  • Prepare, format and check correspondence, reports and documents for completeness and consistency.
  • Handle incoming emails and phone calls for the team professionally and forward requests to the right person.
  • Contribute to improving and standardizing administrative processes within the team.

What we look for:

  • You have an agile, growth-oriented mindset. What you know matters. But the right mindset is just as important in determining success. We're looking for people who are innovative, can work in an agile way and keep pace with a rapidly changing world.
  • You are curious and purpose driven. We're looking for people who see opportunities instead of challenges, who ask better questions to seek better answers.
  • You are inclusive. We're looking for people who seek out and embrace diverse perspectives, who value differences, and team inclusively to build safety and trust.

Qualifications:

  • MBO-4 or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Office Management or a related field.
  • Experience in an administrative or accounting support role, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook; experience with accounting software (e.g., Twinfield, Xero) or Caseware Cloud is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch, English and Papiamento.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

What's in it for you:

  • Accelerate your technical capabilities and transformative leadership skills with future-focused courses and development programs.
  • Broaden your horizons by working on highly integrated teams across the globe and collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds, both professionally and culturally.
  • Bring out the best in yourself with continuous investment in your personal well-being and career development.
  • Develop your own personal purpose and help us create a positive ripple effect on our teams, our business, clients and society.
