  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Global Tax users and other internal business partners.
  • Guide stakeholders through the end-to-end onboarding of technology goods and services.
  • Promote and facilitate Global Procurement policies and processes, helping project teams understand their value and ensuring adherence.
  • Lead supplier market engagement, market research, competitive sourcing, due diligence and commercial evaluations to identify suitable suppliers and secure competitive pricing and terms.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Risk Management and other control functions to manage contractual and third-party risks while enabling business delivery.
  • Lead global and regional negotiations in line with agreed timelines, scope and stakeholder requirements.
  • Identify, validate, track and report financial and non-financial benefits, including savings, cost avoidance, project status and value delivered.
  • Build and manage a forward-looking deal pipeline, aligning stakeholder demand with procurement priorities, capacity and delivery milestones.
  • Support the development of procurement strategies aligned with the global technology strategy and Global Tax requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements across procurement processes, policies, systems, management information and reporting.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility, co-develop strategies and manage expectations.
  • Excellent commercial judgement and a strong focus on value, business outcomes and service delivery.
  • Strong technology sourcing and negotiation capabilities, particularly across software licensing, cloud-based solutions, professional services and complex technology agreements.
  • Ability to manage sourcing and supplier relationships throughout the full commercial and contract lifecycle.
  • Confidence working across business, technology, commercial, legal, risk, privacy and information security functions.
  • Strong influencing, networking and communication skills within a cross-functional, global and virtual environment.
  • Good understanding of technology suppliers, market developments and emerging technologies.
  • Strong organizational, workload and portfolio management skills, with the ability to independently prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives.
