Job Description
What if you could shape how millions of customers across emerging markets receive their orders — and do it as part of an AI-native product organization built from the ground up? Amazon International Emerging Stores Customer Fulfillment Experience (CFX) owns basket building and delivery consolidation, one of the most critical levers for reducing cost-to-serve across 12+ international markets including Mexico, Brazil, Australia, India and the Middle East. This is not about layering AI onto existing systems; you will define what AI-native product development looks like at Amazon, designing the team, the roadmap, and the operating model from scratch. As a Senior Product Manager - Technical, you will use first principles thinking and strong judgment to drive major improvements in delivery efficiency and customer convenience at a scale that few roles can offer. This role requires international travel to markets such as Mexico, Brazil, Australia and the Middle East to work directly with local teams and customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for basket building and delivery consolidation across 12+ international markets, making clear trade-offs between customer convenience, cost-to-serve, and speed.
- Design AI-native product capabilities from the ground up, identifying where AI can reshape delivery consolidation rather than incrementally improve existing workflows.
- Partner with engineering, science, design, and country teams to translate local customer needs into scalable, cross-market solutions.
- Define success criteria and metrics that track both adoption and real-world outcomes such as cost savings and customer satisfaction, using data to inform roadmap priorities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align priorities across the international portfolio, influencing roadmap decisions and building agreement among stakeholders with different market contexts.
A day in the life
Your morning might start with a working session alongside engineers and scientists reviewing how an AI model performs on delivery consolidation recommendations, followed by a call with a country team to understand local cart-building patterns. After lunch you could be writing a product requirements document or building a prototype for a new consolidation feature, then joining an architecture review to talk through scalability trade-offs. You will travel to key markets- Mexico, Brazil, Australia and the Middle East, to work directly with customers and local teams, making sure the products you build reflect real-world needs across the international footprint.
