The opportunity
The Technology Assurance, Risk, and Policy (TARP) function within Information Security strives to create and promote a holistic Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) program by creating a robust, resilient, and proactive governance framework, supported by a strategic risk management approach and stringent compliance structures. It aims to integrate and align its GRC initiatives in line with the global firm's objectives and emerging threats within the cybersecurity landscape.
Furthermore, the Policy, Risk, and Controls (PRC) Enablement & Awareness team aims to establish policies and procedures that reflect the value we place on safeguarding our digital environment, while ensuring that these policies are effectively communicated and enforced across all levels of the organization. The PRC Methodology Program is part of the Global Information Security Policy & Methodology team within PRC Enablement & Awareness and supports the GRC program and its tooling by integrating and aligning the IT PRC Framework operating model to ensure that policies, standards, processes, risks, and controls remain consistent with the principles and data structure of the core GRC platform.
Your key responsibilities

- Identify and recommend process improvements, innovative practices, and operational efficiencies that enhance the effectiveness and scalability of the Methodology Program, while developing and maintaining related documentation, processes, procedures, and program artifacts throughout their lifecycles.
- Develop and refine cross-mappings of PRC common controls against Information Security policies and standards and applicable regulatory and industry requirements to establish a consistent mapping model, strengthen traceability and control coverage, and provide visibility into the organization’s security and compliance posture.
- Partner with Risk, Control, Compliance, and Assessment teams to support control gap assessments and methodology-related initiatives, strengthen control coverage, and drive alignment among risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the integration, adoption, and effective use of GRC technologies and tools, including the Unified Compliance tool, to strengthen assessment activities, control alignment, and risk management processes.
- Help facilitate stakeholder engagement and cross-functional working sessions to influence methodology adoption, reinforce consistent risk and control practices, and advance strategic program objectives.
- Help promote a culture of risk awareness by supporting the Information Security & Awareness team’s risk-focused promotional campaigns and expanding organizational understanding of risk responsibilities and expectations.
