We are seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect to join our Consulting practice. Our team is part of EY’s Europe Central (EC) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally. 

Your Key Responsibilities 

Cloud Strategy and Architecture 

• Shape cloud strategy, architecture standards, adoption approaches and transformation roadmaps. 

• Guide cloud, hybrid and multi-cloud decisions, including workload placement, migration and modernisation. 

• Ensure alignment across enterprise, data, integration, application, security and service architecture. 

Governance and Assurance 

• Review solution architectures for alignment with cloud strategy, standards and organisational requirements. 

• Provide architectural assurance and constructive challenge across programmes, procurements and supplier solutions. 

• Assess architecture decisions across security, resilience, interoperability, operability, sustainability and cost. 

Procurement and Tender Support 

• Translate cloud and architecture requirements into procurement and tender documentation. 

• Contribute to evaluation criteria, solution assessments and technical clarifications. 

• Review supplier proposals, identifying risks, dependencies, assumptions and compliance concerns. 

Stakeholder Engagement and Innovation 

• Communicate cloud options, decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Build consensus across business, technology, security, procurement and delivery communities. 

• Identify opportunities to improve client and internal outcomes through cloud, AI and emerging technologies. 

To qualify for the role, you should have 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience. 

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. 

• Substantial practical experience designing, reviewing or governing Microsoft Azure and hybrid architectures. 

• Experience gained through cloud architecture, engineering, consulting, transformation or technology leadership roles, with progressively broader responsibility across business and technology domains 

• Demonstrates depth in Microsoft Azure and sufficient breadth to engage effectively across enterprise architecture, security, data, integration, applications, service management, delivery and operational communities. 

• Able to understand complex business and technology challenges, evaluate competing priorities, and contribute to strategic and operational decision-making. 

• Substantial practical experience designing, implementing, reviewing or governing cloud and hybrid architectures within complex enterprise environments. 

• Experience supporting cloud strategy, adoption, migration, modernisation and architecture governance initiatives. 

• Practical understanding of artificial intelligence and its application to cloud platforms, technology services and organisational outcomes. 

• Actively explores opportunities to use AI to improve productivity, solution quality, architecture assurance, delivery efficiency and client outcomes, with appropriate consideration of security, privacy, ethics, compliance and AI safety. 

• Builds strong relationships across business and technology communities, collaborates effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and supports the growth and development of others through everyday interactions, coaching and teamwork.
