At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.

Join EY and help to build a better working world.

The opportunity

Our EY Consulting ambition is to become the world’s leading transformation consultants, trusted to help our clients generate long-term value. We’re building world-class capabilities in business, technology, risk and people consulting to help us deliver on EY’s purpose of building a better working world — our firm’s broader ambition to become the world’s most trusted, distinctive professional services organization.

We are seeking Enterprise Architects to join our Consulting practice. Our team is part of EY’s Europe Central (EC) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.

Your Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy and Architecture

  • Shape technology strategy, architectural direction and transformation roadmaps that align business objectives with technology outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and target-state capabilities.

  • Evaluate technology options, emerging trends and architectural approaches, assessing their business, operational and technology implications.

Governance, Assurance and Decision Support

  • Provide architectural leadership, guidance and assurance across programmes, projects and technology initiatives.

  • Support technology governance activities, architecture reviews, and strategic decision-making processes.

  • Contribute to technology investment decisions, business case development, procurement activities and solution evaluations.

Stakeholder Engagement and Consulting

  • Engage business and technology stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities and build consensus around technology direction.

  • Contribute to client engagements, proposals, pursuits and advisory activities.

  • Act as a trusted adviser, helping stakeholders navigate complex business and technology challenges.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve outcomes, accelerate delivery, and increase efficiency through the effective application of AI and other emerging technologies.

  • Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and the practical adoption of new technologies, approaches, and ways of working.

Capability Development

  • Support the growth of architecture capability through knowledge sharing, mentoring, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to the development of architecture practices, intellectual property, standards, and reusable assets.

To qualify for the role, you should have

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline.

  • Broad experience with technology operating models, delivery approaches and service management considerations across modern technology environments, together with an appreciation of FinOps concepts and practices.

  • Experience gained through architecture, engineering, consulting, governance, transformation or technology leadership roles.

  • Exposure to technology strategy, operating models, transformation initiatives and organisational change.

  • Able to understand complex business and technology challenges, evaluate competing priorities, and contribute to strategic and operational decision-making.

  • Practical architecture and delivery experience combined with an understanding of how business, technology and organisational capabilities work together to deliver outcomes.

  • Familiarity with recognised architecture, governance, delivery or service management frameworks and methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL or equivalent).

  • Builds strong relationships across business and technology communities, collaborates effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and supports the growth and development of others through everyday interactions, coaching and teamwork.
